Hello, salaam, peace be upon you wherever you are on this planet. Welcome back to In Peace, where we come to listen, to reflect, to heal and to grow. I know it's been a while since I connected with you all, but I wanted to have this comeback to check in with you all and to remind you of the most important check in of all the check in with your heart. With your heart, how often do you check in with your spaces, making sure it's all nice and clean and tidy? Check in with other things to make sure it all looks good and doing well, but do you remember to check in with the most significant thing that's worth checking in and making a daily habit? Do you remember to check in with your heart, the heart that you carry every moment, with every breath and throughout your life? Your, your heart has the right to have daily check-ins and because your heart carries all the emotions that you feel or all the memories that you have, your heart carries the words that maybe you never said, or the words you said and reflected, whether you had to say them or not. Your heart carries the thoughts that maybe shouldn't be there. So having these regular daily check-ins with your heart will really help you to purify your heart and have a pure heart in your journey. Have a pure heart in your journey, um. So it's really, really important to do these daily check-ins with your heart. So how give your heart the time to check in and how often do you do it? How do you do it? I'll give you some ideas today, some thoughts of reflections to take with you and see how you can put them in your days to keep the chick in with your heart, to keep your heart on check, to keep your heart grounded and keep the regular purification of the heart, because your heart is the heart of everything in your life. So every day the start of the day is the best start of the day is to have stillness, to have really some space for yourself, to to connect with your heart and ask your heart how, how are you doing? What do intentions for the day?
Speaker 1:Breathe start your day with the breathing, because our breath is what connects you truly to your heart, to your soul. So remember to practice mindful breathing, breathing, meditation in the morning. You can start with five minutes a day, if you've never done it before, but if you've done it before. If you've never done it before, but if you've done it before, you can keep making it slightly longer or more extra mindful and it'll all help your body and your heart to feel always grounded and connected. And every day, while you're doing that, where you're having that stillness, that space, quiet space in the morning, tell yourself that you deserve a pure start. You deserve a pure start, you deserve a fresh start.
Speaker 1:Maybe it's easy sometimes for our mind to bring you back some heaviness from the day before and remind you, oh, you need to deal with that blah blah. So it takes practice and it takes training to calm that down and let go of it so you have a fresh day and a lighter day. And, yeah, definitely a mindful breathing meditation is really a beautiful way and an effective way of doing that. While you're breathing, you breathe in a clarity, you breathe in purification and as you breathe out, you let out all the dust that maybe your heart has and your mind has. Imagine as dust, basically in your mind, and this dust is all going away as you breathe out and as you imagine this. It makes you more focused in your meditation and it'll make it easier to actually see how, how it actually works, how easy it can be to get rid of all the stresses, experiences or the past stresses, let's say, because the experiences we had in the past shape us and not necessarily are a burden if we choose to see them as a gift, for lessons, for wisdom, for learning. But what we need to get rid of from the past is the stress, is the um, the frustration, is the anger, is all the heaviness that are on your heart. This is what you really want to let go of and free your heart from, to have a lighter heart Throughout the day. You can also keep the check in on your heart as the day keeps going.
Speaker 1:It's good to have moments with yourself, even if it's just five minutes. Just reflect on the good moments you had in your day. These don't need to be significant, but they can be significant, and appreciating these moments will bring you more and more good moments like them. It can be catching the bus on time, it can be seeing a beautiful flower on your way as you children, um, some moments can be having access to pure, clean water. All these having that um, these five minutes to remember these moments that you had during the day and this is just midday it will help you keep going with your day with grace, with beautiful energy, and will keep your heart on check, because it'll remind your heart it is all good and the more you express gratitude and appreciation, it's like a fuel for your heart to to have an experience peace, because that's the right focus on the goodness, on the blessings, and reduce all the other things, even if you had some challenging moments maybe in the day or you had to deal with this and that which is part of life. When you have this five minutes midday of gratitude, of appreciation of the moments that you already had in the day, it'll help you keep going with a beautiful, positive day, with a heart full of grace and gratitude.
Speaker 1:Another important thing to keep your heart on check is forgiveness past a grief or anger from people that maybe did not meet your expectations or betrayed you or or or so. Forgiveness is a key thing to have peace in your heart and the most important thing to start with is to forgive yourself. Forgive yourself for accepting what you shouldn't have accepted, for saying yes when your heart was saying scream and no. A forgive yourself if you promised yourself maybe to do something or achieve something or other things. Forgive yourself. Forgive yourself for all these things. Forgive yourself and constantly tell yourself I forgive, you, have that self-compassion, that you deserve compassion. And, as you want to give compassion to other people, compassion to other people, as you want to see compassion in the world as we see the lack of it in our time, sadly you must start with yourself in order to see more in the world.
Speaker 1:So, start with giving yourself compassion, forgive yourself, stop blaming yourself, aim for not doing this, for not doing that. Forgive yourself. And it does not mean that you do not take responsibility. No, but it means that you, that you purify your heart from shame and tell yourself that you always have a fresh start, to to restart, to redirect yourself to the right path, and this will will fuel you and will give you hope that you can always change. You can always work on bettering yourself, a, you can always work on purifying your heart from a place of compassion and forgiveness, and that will help you to have the hope. Fuel yourself with hope that you can always work on yourself, better yourself. Be a Always work on yourself, better yourself. Be a magnificent force of goodness in this world. It's never too late and it's never from a place of shame. No, it's from a place of compassion, place of a mindset, of growth.
Speaker 1:And as you forgive yourself, you can easily also forgive others. And you forgive others really to free yourself from the burden, from the heaviness yourself from the burden from the heaviness it takes your heart when your heart holds into a, that frustration or that anger or that aim, all these difficult emotion towards another human being. So when you forgive, you liberate your heart, you make your heart much lighter and purer and really ready to experience a lighter life in general. So forgive others, forgive your parents, forgive other people who may have caused you harm or betrayals, forgive, forgive for you to be in peace and to be lighter. Remind yourself with constant affirmations that you are worthy of forgiveness, of compassion, of having a lighter heart. And what mostly helped me personally to forgive with ease is the forgiveness of Allah Azza wa Jal, of the Creator, of the Owner of the whole universe. If Allah Azza wa Jal can forgive with ease, despite how the state of humanity at the moment and how many disconnected themselves from God, if not even denying the existence of God altogether, and despite all this, allah always forgives and gives a chance after chance after chance. So when I remember this, it really makes it so much easier to forgive with ease, to forgive fully, without holding into any burden or any other heavy emotions, and it all really helps you to feel lighter and and will help you when you remember that it'll help you forgive with ease.
Speaker 1:Also, another thing to keep check, with your heart on check is having some time like 10 minutes, 15 minutes to jot down all the things that maybe disturbed your day, whether it's a quote-unquote difficult situation you had to deal with or a that like maybe a phone call you had to make or some a person who wasn't the easiest to talk to, maybe a any random thing or any situation that maybe made you feel out of your grace, out of consciousness. You felt you lost your balance. Write all these things down on paper and it could be things maybe from the past, it doesn't need to be from the day. So write everything down, things that you maybe never mentioned or said to anybody, but still it caused you feeling heavy, it caused your heart feeling heavy. So write all these things down and remember the paper is never judgmental. She, the piece of paper, always welcome your words with warmth and without any judgments. So please jot everything down so it's all out of your system. Out. It's all out of your heart and, yeah, just observe how much lighter you feel when you do this.
Speaker 1:Another thing you can do to keep checking in on your heart is to help others, to express gratitude to others. That always brings light to your heart when you do that, because we're not here for ourselves. Actually, the more we give others, the more we help others. The more we express gratitude and appreciation for others who bring goodness to our hearts, the more we feel more light in our hearts. So take time in your day, in your week, to send a short message of gratitude to a loved one, to a kind colleague, to anybody who you think really deserve acknowledgement, really deserves appreciation, and the more you do this, you can observe how this really brings light into your heart and also help purifies your heart from envy or from jealousy, which are diseases of the heart that a human beings, we should work on throughout the journey out the journey. But the more we see others out of appreciation, out of a wanting to support them, to see the goodness in themselves, to feel acknowledged, the more our hearts will be purified from all the envy, from all the jealousy. Yeah, please make it a habit to send notes of gratitude, whether it's a text message, whether it's a letter, whether it's a nice acknowledging gift to anybody who you feel deserves it, who passed in your journey, and, yeah, it really brings a beautiful impact on your heart.
Speaker 1:Another thing that you should not do and you should actually avoid to keep your heart on check, is stop complaining. Stop complaining about the things that you don't want to see in your life, because as you complain, you actually give them fuel. You feed them so you'll see a more of them relative, so of course you do want that. So, no, stop complaining. When you see, maybe, things that happen to you and you're not happy with, the best thing is not to give them fuel by not complaining about them. And, yeah, you can take the right steps to fix them or like improve them, but avoid complaining as much as you can.
Speaker 1:Avoid comparing yourself to others, because, again, that's like a disease of the heart. You do not see what anybody goes through. Maybe some people put things you see on social media. Everything looks all good and shiny and blah blah, which may push you to compare yourself to them, but you never know the full story of anybody or what's what's anybody going on or suffering from from under the table. So never compare yourself to anyone else. You have your own story, your own goodness, your own beautiful differences and uniqueness. So never, ever compare yourself to anybody else.
Speaker 1:To keep your heart pure again, something related to forgiveness stop complaining, stop blaming others, stop blaming yourself, because that again drains your energy, it brings heaviness into your heart, of course, not because everything is perfect, but because you want to protect your heart. You want to protect your energy from these things that are really a. The prescription of draining your energy basically complaining, comparing brain, blaming all these things a shrink your heart and drain your energy. So you want to avoid them for a full, light, pure heart. A and you keep check in with your heart as you try to live each moment mindfully and fully.
Speaker 1:As you eat an apple or a meal, try to be mindful as you can, as you're enjoying, as you're seeing this as a huge blessing, having access to this, a nice, beautiful fruit, this meal, a. Give it its right by being mindful in each, each bit, each smell, as you smell it, as you chew it, um, be mindful in every moment of your day, really, because every mindful moment, every moment of awareness, is a coming back to you is a coming back to your heart. It keeps you connected and it keeps you. It keeps the coherence between your heart, your mind, your body, and so have as many moments of awareness as you can, be mindful as you can, throughout, each and every day of your life. Also, remember to gift your heart with moments of contemplation. And see, observe the sunrise or the sunset, repeat in your heart that I choose to clean my heart from everything and anything that does not resonate with me Resonate with me. So repeat this as you see the sunset. Remind yourself that you choose to clean your heart from anything that does not resonate with your heart. And in this way, in this affirmation, you let out anything that came across a in your day that you do not agree with or you do not, you're not in coherence with a. So it's, it purifies. Purifies your heart from that which is really important.
Speaker 1:To intentionally get rid of all these things that do not resonate with us, do not resonate with our hearts. It is important to let go of them intentionally, to free our hearts from them. It is important to remember that stillness is not escape from reality. It is actually a way of living the reality in a way that keeps you in peace, in a way that keeps you in peace, keeps you on track of who you want to be, of who you are, a way to give you peace. Really, you do not need to be perfect, but all you need to be is present in the fully, fully in the moment, with peace, and constantly be on track on how you feel, observe it without judgment, but in a way that keeps you on track of how you can purify and and quickly get rid or let go of any um feeling that will disturb your peace. You can keep on track, let go of them, and it becomes an easy habit as you do it more.
Speaker 1:When it's bedtime, the end of your day, it is important you connect with your heart. You can put your hands on your heart and ask, ask your heart, what, what tired you today? What? What disturbed you today? Um, you can also help yourself by shutting down the answers. So it's all out. Um. Check in with your heart. Where did you fall from grace today and why is that? How? How we can avoid that next time again. Jot it all down.
Speaker 1:A check in with yourself what, what did you learn today? A what do you need to let go of and that's the most important thing a choosing to let go of the things, their emotions, the, a unneeded negative energy that maybe you had in the day. So let go of all these things and before you sleep, you can tell yourself that you choose to relax, you choose to rest, you choose to reset and end the day with you feeling lighter. You feel lighter as you let go of all the words maybe you have somebody said to you or the emotions you felt you didn't really need to carry throughout while you sleep, and let go of all these things and carry the positive things of the day. Remind yourself of a moment of appreciation, that somebody maybe thanked you for something, or remind yourself with a nice sentence you read in a book and it truly resonated with you. Remind yourself of a nice moment you looked at the sky and looked so beautiful. Take all these precious positive blessings from your day to your sleep and let go of all the other. A beautiful thing you can take also. It could be a prayer, a, a quote, a.
Speaker 1:To me, I really love ending the day with a, some quran, with reminding myself that how the real peace is coming from God, from Allah, as it is mentioned in the Quran. Truly, it is in the remembrance of God that hearts find peace. And I love, I love this ayah and I love, I love this ayah. And it's a beautiful reminder that the true and real and endless source of peace is remembering our source, our creator, constantly. And in remembering Allah we can overcome anything.
Speaker 1:We can forgive with ease. You can forgive with ease. You can give with ease. You can spread goodness with ease. You can let goeded heaviness on your heart, negative energy. You can let it all go with ease with the help and remembrance of Allah. Allah as a wish. A at the end of this episode, just remember that your heart expands when you allow your heart to rest. A. Do not let your heart be like a storage space for nonsense situations, for unneeded um energy or heaviness. A but make your heart your home, a home of peace, a home of light. A as you keep the regular chickens, as you connect your heart with the remembrance of a of Allah's ocean of God, and that what will keep you always in check and connected and in coherence and will make you always feel in peace with which. Why we're here. Why we're here. May your day, may your night, may your all life be filled with ease, with peace and with joy. And assalamu alaikum, peace be upon you, salamat.
