Speaker 1:

As-salamu alaykum, peace be upon you wherever you are on this planet. Welcome back to a new episode of In Peace, where we come together to listen, reflect, to heal and to grow episode. It's really inspired by a quote that I read in a book that is called keys to sacred science, which is a beautiful, deep book that you really need to read a few times to grasp the amazing meaning that it has. And this quote is a really short one from the book but had deep meaning and really inspired me to talk about a this topic. And this quote says that the blur of habits blinds the insights of the heart, and I loved this and it made me think.

Speaker 1:

How many human beings live in this life? Life and the outcomes of all their lives is constant habits that they do day to day, unconsciously, without being aware of them, and it just becomes their lives and the way they keep going and then die at the end, without reflecting, without any change. Most of the time, this happens really because they are scared of change, scared of scared of change, scared of a change in their lives, a change in their habits. So they feel this is their quote-unquote safe zone and this is what they're used to, so it must be the right thing and that's it they're missing out in life. It they're missing out in life. They're missing out of living a fulfilling, rich and a meaningful life because of this fear that holds them back of changing their lives, of doing the next move in their personal lives and their career lives and their family lives and they keep up with the ordinary habits that they're used to, just because it makes them feel safe and they don't really think about it or reflect on it and because what they're taught always, sometimes it can be unconsciously passed through their or the system or the media that change is a scary thing or change can bring them trouble. And it's all an outcome of their fears. And I know that fear can be good, sometimes it keeps us safe, but in this case, when fear stops us change, it's a huge barrier between us and between the better life that we can experience if we can handle this fear and and deal with it consciously.

Speaker 1:

And human beings, they experience fears on different levels fears of getting old, fears of being rejected, fears of change and making choices, making decisions, fear of getting old, fear of sometimes success even sometimes success, even a feel of failure, feel of being helpless fear of everything going on in the world and fear, and fear, and fear, and the list can go on and on. But all these kinds of fears can stand between you and the next level of you, the better version of you, which you really are here to be and to grow, not just to be where you and and keep up with the constant habits that you keep doing. No, you are here to grow, you are here to keep growing, and growth does not happen without change. You must change, you must take this next move, and the way of change is to face your fears. And we all fall in this, in fear of these things, in fear of change, and of course it's the automated reaction. Change might not be easy, but also being where you are forever doing the same habits over and over again, the unhealthy habits, without reflecting of changing them, of adding a new ones, that is the dangerous thing, that is, that means that you're not really following nature, you're not really following what's going on all around you. Everything changes throughout the seasons. You can see the trees how many times they keep changing, they keep growing, they keep flourishing, showing off the most beautiful version of themselves, because they keep going with constant change in this life circle and as the trees keep growing, keep changing, keep showing up, you also can.

Speaker 1:

But why is it the case for human beings that they, or most of them, do not follow this natural process of change and being in constant change with ease and with flow? Why is it the case and most of the time it is a case of having deep fears that they cannot handle what life will throw at them when they do this change? Oh what if I left this job? They will fear feeling lost and losing security and being rejected by other opportunities. But it's not just fear of change. People are stuck in circles and circles and circles of other kinds of change, fear and and other kinds of fear as well. Things like problems, whatever problem, mean a a difficulties can be thrown at them like they're fearing that they won't be able to handle if it's an illness, if it's a getting old, if it's not getting the right job, if it's losing money, failure and all these kinds of fears. The core reason of all these fears is that people fear they cannot handle it. They will not be able to handle it.

Speaker 1:

But what if you are the one who can change this thought and who can change this misconception Because you and, yes, you who are listening you can handle anything. You can handle anything that life brings you. You can handle any change you have the courage to do and embrace. You can handle any unexpected events. You can handle any challenge, you have the power to handle it. And every single thing of all these things that were examples of fears, they actually come your attention to the stuckness that you are at. So all these things come to you as messengers that you must change. You must make peace with your fears. Okay, acknowledge them, write them down, but then let go of these fears so you can move forward in your life, you can show up in your life and you can experience more blissful moments in your life. And you can experience more blissful moments in your life, whether it's your personal, your career, your spiritual, your family, all aspects of your life.

Speaker 1:

It is time to move forward. It is time to move forward, it is time to change. And we are still in the month of change, the month of November, the season of change, the season of autumn. So do not miss this opportunity of being in flow, of going with the flow of life, the flow of nature, the flow of life, the flow of nature, the flow of this beautiful universe we live in, and take the chance to take your next move in all aspects of your life. You can do it and you can handle it. You can handle anything.

Speaker 1:

And do not listen to your monkey chatter who keeps holding you back, who keeps giving you all the reasons why you should not do it, why you should not go through this change. No, you can be the smart one. You can handle this chatter and make peace with it. But take that step. Make that step for a beautiful, positive change in your life, no matter how scary it seems or how quote-unquote, maybe nonsense, but know you know that what your heart is calling for, and each one of you know, have a different thing and know maybe this, this might be your call, this might be one of the signs a that it is time to change, it is time to take that step and it is time to handle your fears, make peace with them.

Speaker 1:

So, from today, practice telling yourself every day, in the morning, every day before bedtime, bedtime, always tell this to yourself I am safe, I can handle anything this life throws at me. I can handle anything, I am safe and I assure you, you are safe. You can handle anything. You are safe. You can handle anything, no matter it was. You can handle it. You can handle every change you are going to embrace. You can handle it with your creativity, with your uniqueness, with your courage and with your very existence. You can handle it and you are safe. You always are safe because you are. You are under the beauty of the safety of Allah's eyes, of God's eyes, of whatever you want to call.

Speaker 1:

And have this deep faith. Having it is so empowering and always give you the courage to embrace change, to embrace, reflecting on the sometimes unconscious habits that you might have that it is time to change them in whatever aspect of your life, of your life, and believe deeply that you, when you do this, you are following nature's, um, the flow of nature, really like, just like what's going on in autumn, just like what's going on in the season of change, in the month of change. So it is, it is a good time to do that. And now I'd like to give you a nice you can call it a writing exercise or a journal and I always love this world. I have something to to, to write every day, to to. That will really help you in the journey of change, in the journey of facing your fears, making peace with your fears, and it'll make a huge difference and they'll make you a jump from a change to another with ease, with peace and with joy.

Speaker 1:

So if you want to grab a piece of paper or your favorite jota and a pen so you can write down this exercise that will really help you paper or this jotter and write all the things, all the amazing things that you think that are going to happen as a result of this change. So write every single thing that you think will happen if you change, say, your job. Maybe you feel you're overworking at the moment, maybe you lack life and work balance, so this change is going to help you find work life balance. This change will help you have more freedom of your time. You're not going to be always having to do nine to five. So freedom and you know.

Speaker 1:

Write all these things in your own language, whether are longer sentences or they're just words. You can write them as a mind map, if that that's what you prefer, and you can write them as bullet points. You can write them as a story. Just write them your way all the amazing things that are going to happen, as this, as you embrace, be changing your mindset towards something, or changing anything really where you live, or changing.

Speaker 1:

So write everything what's going to happen as a result of this change. Throw them all out and make it as long as you can make these a amazing thing related to your own values. That will make you more motivated to make this change. So, yeah, a great way to link them to your values, to the important things in your life, important things in all the aspects of your lives. How are they going to improve as a result of this particular change? Improve as a result of this particular change and you'll be amazed. Oh, my god. Okay, so I have all these amazing things that can happen. What is stopping me? So ask yourself, and then you will realize that it's been for so long this way because of fear and because of all the kinds of fears, whether it's feel of the unseen, feel of rejection, feel of what's going to happen if it didn't work, and all these monkey chatters. That all what's stopping you of experiences all this beautiful, amazing things that you wrote on this list. You can write these, hang them on your wall so you can see them always as a motivation, as a reminder. You can handle it, you can do it. All these things are worthwhile and worth the change, worth embracing the fears, so put them somewhere you can see always.

Speaker 1:

The other exercise you can do to help you is simply write in in a big handwriting, in a big sign, somewhere you can see always whether it's in your living room, maybe, um, near the mirror where you see yourself every morning write a big sign, and what you need to write is something like whatever happens, it does not matter. Whatever happens as a result of this change, the result of this decision, it does not matter. It is not the end of the world. So write that somewhere you always can see and it really will help you minimize whatever fears you have and it will empower you to remind yourself of who you are and how you can handle things. Because, at the end of the day, this is the truth. Whatever happens, it really doesn't matter. Even maybe, if it wasn't the outcome that you really wished for, it'll always be a great experience. You will learn lessons, you will gain lots of skills, lots of experiences as a result of this change. No matter it was, so it really doesn't matter, um, and this mindset will help you. Just take the leap and go for it. Do it, make this change.

Speaker 1:

The third exercise you can do is my favorite, one that we already kind of mentioned is writing in a huge sign that, whatever happens, I can handle it. Whatever happens, I can overcome it. So again, write it in a big handwriting somewhere you can see always and remind you of who you are and that you can handle anything as a result of this change. And always remember if trees can change, you can change. You can make that beautiful move in your life, whatever outcome it had, you can handle it, and it will help you grow. You will learn so much about yourself, you will learn so much about life, you will learn so much about so many things and you will have so many experiences that you will be proud of. So go for it, take the leap and change yourself, change your life, because in that way you'll be in the state of flow, just like nature, and when you're in that state, it means you're on the right.

Speaker 1:

Last thing you can ask yourself and I want to leave you with this and it it can be a difficult question to ask, but I think it's an important one to ask yourself and to remind all of us, to remind ourselves of this question and ask it, because really it gives you the courage to to change so much and take that next step. Make that decision, make that call, email that email that you were just putting on hold. Do that call, email that email that you were just putting on hold. Do that call, do that move. If today or next week was the last week of your life, are you going to regret not doing that? Are you going to regret not embracing that fear, not making peace with it?

Speaker 1:

And ask yourself that and remember that this life is really short on earth and when we don't make the right changes for us, it's really sometimes worth asking ourselves is it going to be worthwhile going through this life, with all the better sweetness of it, if we are prisoners of our fears?

Speaker 1:

Of course not.

Speaker 1:

We can liberate ourselves.

Speaker 1:

We have the power of choice to choose freedom of all fears.

Speaker 1:

So, yes, you can free yourself from all fears and embrace the change, embrace the growth and make this journey of life on this earth worthwhile, worthwhile. Show up on this earth because you are worthy and you are here for a big reason and for a message that only you can fulfill. So go for it, you can do it, and yeah, it and yeah. That's really what I wanted to share today, and I really pray deeply that it gives each one of you the courage to to keep growing, keep changing, do all these moves that you know you really want to do, that your heart is calling, and keep pushing you to do it and free yourself from all the fears, because you are worth it and you can handle anything with all your creativity. So until next time I speak to you, I wish you all ease, peace and joy in the next couple of weeks and lots of courage to make all the change you need to to grow to the next level of your life. Peace be upon you all and salamat.
